Heesup Yun

Heesup received his undergraduate and master's degree at Seoul National University in Korea and worked in a self-driving startup for about 4 years. Currently, he is working on computer vision and machine learning for agriculture. He studies the effects of thermal stress on the phenotype of crops by analyzing images taken by drones and ground rovers of soybeans and sorghum. He hopes this research will solve the various problems of agriculture by developing artificial intelligence optimized for agriculture.
 

Research Interest: AI / Machine Learning for Agriculture. Object detection, instance segmentation and generative models for beans and sorghum images.
