Mandatory Annual Advising
To help EBSE students stay on track for timely program completion and ensure they are well-prepared for their courses, annual advising is mandatory in the College of Engineering. All EBS students must meet with their advisor by the end of Fall Quarter to avoid a registration hold in Winter. If a hold is placed on your account, you will be unable to register for courses until you meet with your major advisor to discuss your academic progress, professional goals, and any challenges you may be facing.
Completing Your Mandatory Annual Advising
- 1. Create a 3-quarter Academic Plan by visiting students.ucdavis.edu and clicking Forms & Petitions > Submit a New Form > Academic Plan > SAVE AS DRAFT (do not SUBMIT)
2. Make an appointment with your EBS Major Advisor to discuss this academic plan and your goals by the end of Fall quarter.
3. After your appointment with the EBSE Undergraduate Advisor, you will receive an email with information and instructions on how to complete this task
