Kelly Graff

Kelly finished her undergraduate degree in Biological Systems Engineering with a minor in Green Engineering at Virginia Tech in Spring 2021. Following her undergraduate degree, she completed her masters degree in Biological Systems Engineering at Virginia Tech in Spring 2021. During her masters she studied the effect of trace element supplementation on the biomethane potential of food waste anaerobic digestion. She started her PhD at UC Davis in Fall 2022 where she plans to continue her work on food waste utilization with work centered around bioplastic production from fermented food waste. 
 

Research Interest: Treatment of agricultural and food wastes for resource utilization.
