Dr. El-Mashad's research focuses on bioenergy, bioproducts and biotechnical engineering. He has worked on areas such as bio-augmentations strategies of anaerobic digestion, sustainability, bioprocess engineering, fermentation technology, biomass research, infrared peeling of tomatoes and other vegetables, and much more.
