Bio

Saeed is a PhD student in the CEE lab at the Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering. Before joining the University of California Davis, he was a visiting scholar at the University of California Berkeley. He received his M.S. degree in Environmental and Land Planning Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, Italy, and a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Shiraz University, Iran. Saeed is a data analyst in sustainable agriculture and environmental science. He is currently pursuing his interest in modeling and managing water, nutrients, energy, and food in soil and soil-less cultivation to move towards sustainable food/feed production. His ultimate goal is to manage resources for Controlled Environment Agriculture in an efficient manner.
